At The Marketing 1, we measure our client's tenure in years, not by project, week, or month. Our largest accounts have all been with us for five or more years.
We find that if we provide high-quality work, it is much easier to expand our opportunities with our existing clients before branching out to new ones.
As a result we are somewhat selective with the client we choose to partner with.

We are a strong believer in a 'partnership' model, and seek out quality companies where we can add value to their organization, and provide services which might be too expensive or time-consuming if they were to peform them in-house.


Company History

1998: The Marketing 1 (TM1) was founded to provide marketing services for a large financial instituion.
2001: the company incorporated as THEMARKETING1 (DBA TM1) and began provided sales & marketing services for multiple clients.
2002: expanded our capabilities and purchased our outbound predictive dialer.
2003: invested & expanded in our phone switch, allowing us to provide inbound services.
2005: Invested in bulk-email software
2006: Invested in bulk-fax software2003: founded SpiderSpray Plus
2004: founded TM1Software
2005: founded TradeSteps, LLC
2006: founded TradeStepsFX, LLC
2007: founded TeamOne Captial Management
2008: moved Main office to Sandy, UT
